Henry's first Christmas

We spent Henry's first Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Holzapfel's in Venice, Florida. Uncle Alex met us down there, too! While the weather wasn't exactly warm, it was a heck of a lot warmer than it was back home in PA. Most of the days it was in the mid 60's or low 70's with plenty of sunshine.
On Christmas Eve we took advantage of the beautiful day and went for a boat ride along the inter coastal waterway.

On Christmas Day, we spent time playing Wii, while Henry napped in the morning, then we opened presents and ate a delicious turkey dinner. Henry doesn't yet understand the concept of presents - I think he likes the paper more than the toy most of the time. He was so overwhelmed by the noises and all the new stuff when it was all said and done. He wasn't sure what he should play with first.

After opening presents, Henry went poolside, to watch the rain fall. (We had to put down a soft blanket so he wouldn't scrape his knees.)
