Henry loves the vacuum, but on his own terms. If I try to vacuum with him in the room, but not letting him hold the vacuum, he freaks out. If he is holding the vacuum while it is off and then I turn it on, it scares it. So in most instances, I hold him while I vacuum, then I turn it off and let him do some house cleaning, too. I guarantee you, once the kid is old enough to really vacuum, he won't have any interest in it anymore.
