Four (and a half) month check-up

Yesterday daddy, Henry, and I want to see Dr. P. for Henry's four month check-up and shots. Considering Henry had to be stabbed in the thigh two times, he did pretty good. And to top it off, Dr. P gave Henry rave reviews and a healthy seal of approval. He was impressed with Henry's neck strength and that he is rolling over from back to stomach so well (especially since he doesn't do such a great job rolling from stomach to back, which is suppose to be the easier of the two!) Dr. P applauded my decision for Ferberizing Henry, since he was clearly being a little manipulator. And he gave us the green light to start to introduce solids into Henry's diet! Woohoo! We went straight to the store and picked us up some baby cereal and a variety of fruits and veggies.... more on that later.

Henry's stats:
Weight: 15 lbs, 15 oz (55%)
Height: 24 3/4 inches (29%)

We'll start pulling on his legs soon to get them to catch up with the rest of him! (kidding!)

We had a pretty lazy day afterwards. We celebrated Aunt Christina's birthday with Andrew, Chase and Jill. Then we went home and Henry slept most of the day (the special brew of shots + Tylenol tuckered him out!) Last night I took Henry to meet my bible study group. They only knew him when he was in my belly and were thrilled to meet finally meet him! He was the hit of the party, but we only got to stay for 45 minutes because someone needed to get to bed!
Here's a few pics of Henry right after his nap:
