Atlantic City Boat Show

On Sunday, February 7, the snow storm had cleared out and left beautiful blue, sunny sky. Brian had been wanting to get to the in-door boat show in Atlantic City - and wasn't going to let the snow keep him away. That morning, we packed up the car and kid and made our way to AC. The roads were a little worse then we expected them to be - which was a little shocking considering we were driving on major highways. Some sections were down to one lane - we took our time and so did all the other drivers.

Once we arrived at the boat show, Henry couldn't believe his eyes. He was in awe and loved every second of it. He was a absolute riot the whole day - he was silly, smiley and just plain adorable. He got that same comments from each person we passed, "What a happy baby!"
Brian and I didn't allow a 9 month old to keep us from our boat show tradition - we headed straight to the bar and got ourselves a bud light and then walked around and enjoyed the sights.

After several hours of touring boats, dreaming about boats and talking boats we were beat - we made a game time decision to get a hotel room, get some dinner, and kick back and watch the Super Bowl from AC. I was a little apprehensive, as such a game time decision isn't often made with a baby in tow, but decided to go with it. We got a room, I got skeeved out with Henry crawling all over the hotel room floor, then we all passed out, about 5 minutes into the super bowl. We were up early the next morning and headed back to Yardley.

On our ride home the next day, we awarded the day and over night activities as "best family day/night, ever". It was an awesome time - nothing better than making memories as a family.
